A stout high-density plastic widely used in the marine industry is bonded to the acrylic to create the innovative locking door mechanism. Simply pull out the deadbolt pin and slide out the acrylic panel up; out; and then down. The security door keeps unwanted visitors out of your home and/or will keep your pet inside if need be.
The flexible pet flap itself is made of 100% pure synthetic based thermal rubber commonly used in new homes to insulate basement floor applications. The thermal flap insulates as well as significantly reduces noise passing thru. Unlike plastic flaps, our flexible thermal rubber flap will not warp or crack due to weathering and usage. Our pet flaps are built to last.
The super high strength marine grade canvas bonded to the flap is highly UV resistant and abrasive resistant. This canvas also repels water and provides stay true long lasting color. Cleaning pet flap with a non-detergent cleanser will keep your pet flap looking great.
We attach high-energy magnet to the flexible thermoplastic polyester reinforced independent jam. The jam material is extremely durable and carries an energy rating. This material is often used in the roofing industry to help insulate homes.
Our pet door flap comes already attached and sealed to the pet door at the top, with high quality exterior silicon.

There are no mechanically moving parts that may pinch, snag, or otherwise harm your pet. We use live hinges with safe fully flexible flaps.
The outside of the flexible thermal pet flap is lined with magnet which creates closure and bonds to the inside parallel magnet on the flexible independent jam. The outside parallel magnet on the jam seals to the magnetically lined acrylic frame creating the two way action. At closure, the shear energy created by the high energy rubber based magnets creates and maintains a draft-free weather tight seal after every use.
