Innotek's Lightning Protector was specifically designed to protect electronic pet containment system transmitters against damage from lightning storms. The unit contains two protectors - one to stop lightning currents from coming into the loop wire and the other stops the current from coming into the AC power connection. This product does not protect other equipment against surges.
